I recommend the workshop to people taking their first and "second" steps in the field of sociology/visual anthropology. In the first part of the meeting, I will present - and illustrate with relevant examples - the basic assumptions of visual grounded theory (WTU). In this part, I also anticipate a discussion on the grounding of "eye-knowledge" in the contexts and conditions in which images are created, presented and used. In the second part, the Participants will analyze the set of propaganda posters, taking into account the procedures and recommendations of the WTU. I invite mainly people who have not yet participated in my classes devoted to visual analysis to participate in the workshop.
